Basketball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Hackett Hornets and fell 62-18. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Little Johns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-20 back in January.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Hackett, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Danville has already played their next matchup (against Mountainburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hackett will head out on the road to face off against Acorn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Hackett sitting on four straight wins and Acorn on eight.
