Volleyball Recap: Emmaus Hornets vs. William Allen Canaries
Emmaus had already won five in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the William Allen Canaries. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Emmaus walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-21.
Colin Holden paced Emmaus' offense, picking up nine kills. Holden were helped by Ben Skekel and Jayden Perez, who contributed 15 assists each. Skekel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.
