Softball Preview: Bear River Bears vs. Tooele Buffaloes
The Bear River Bears will square off against the Tooele Buffaloes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bear River took a loss when they played away from home back in April, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. They came out on top against Logan by a score of 9-5.

Aubrie Hansen made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Hansen was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
In other batting news, Rose Kimball was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Olivia Nelson was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
