Thurston has gone a perfect 7-0 against Eagle Point recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Colts will take on the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Thurston has three straight wins, Eagle Point has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

On Tuesday, Thurston made easy work of Springfield and carried off an 8-1 victory. Given Thurston's advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Springfield are ranked 133rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Eagle Point came up short against Crater on Tuesday and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that Eagle Point have lost by exactly two goals.

Eagle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-2. As for Thurston, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-1.

Everything went Thurston's way against Eagle Point in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Thurston made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
