Volleyball Recap: Santee Takes a Loss

Santee lost against Gardena back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-17 in the first set.

Santee started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-14.

Santee's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Gardena, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Santee will venture away from home to take on Dr. Maya Angelou Community at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gardena, they will take on Narbonne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
