Soccer Game Preview: McDonald County vs. Aurora

The McDonald County Mustangs will venture away from home to take on the Aurora Houn Dawgs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

McDonald County is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They lost 9-0 to Webb City.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Aurora was forced to settle for a draw. They and Cassville finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

Aurora's draw makes their record 0-3-1 this season. As for McDonald County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

McDonald County skirted past Aurora 1-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will McDonald County repeat their success, or does Aurora has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
