Baseball Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss

Lutheran was the 10-4 winner over Taylor Prep when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors lost 18-1 to the Tigers on Saturday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joey Hollyer was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Taylor Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

While Lutheran had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
