Volleyball Recap: North Branch Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

North Branch entered their tilt with Novi on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. The Broncos were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wildcats, so the Broncos were just returning the favor.

Aubree Deshetsky paced North Branch's offense, picking up 17 kills. Deshetsky got some help from Kylie Doherty and her 25 assists. Addison Franklin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

North Branch's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Novi, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Branch will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Frankenmuth at 5:00 p.m. on September 11. As for Novi, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Marian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
