Soccer Recap: Castleberry Comes Up Short

Castleberry managed to slip by Brownwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Castleberry lost 3-0 to Brownwood on Thursday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Castleberry couldn't quite close it out.

Castleberry has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-3 record this season. Brownwood is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4-1 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Castleberry duke it out with Western Hills at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st. Brownwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
