Arleta had lost five straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 9-15 to make it six. They fell just short of the Verdugo Hills Dons by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in April.

Arleta saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JUSTINE MEJIA, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

As for Verdugo Hills, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since May 9, 2024.
