Baseball Recap: Coram Deo Academy Takes a Loss

Coram Deo Academy lost against Episcopal School of Dallas back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coram Deo Academy Lions might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to the Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sebastian Luterek was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Jack Hamm also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Coram Deo Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coram Deo Academy will square off against Prince of Peace at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Prince of Peace is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season. Episcopal School of Dallas will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against NSU University at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th.
