Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Avery Wyan and Lilly Graham Lead Lehman Catholic to Victory

Lehman Catholic had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Northridge on Thursday. The Cavaliers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Polar Bears. The Cavaliers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lehman Catholic took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-10.

Lehman Catholic was led to victory by Lilly Graham and Avery Wyan. Graham had 13 digs and three assists, while Wyan had five digs and one assist.

Lehman Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. They are 6-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Lehman Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.
