Football Game Preview: Highland Trojans vs. Munster Mustangs

The Highland Trojans will head out to take on the Munster Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland has given up an average of 36.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Highland took a blow against Andrean, falling 52-13. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Fighting 59ers are ranked 80th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to 44 points the game before, Munster was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 30-10 to Hanover Central. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Munster, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Highland might still be hurting after the 41-21 defeat they got from Munster in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Mustangs' Sam Sudac, who rushed for 177 yards and three scores on only 15 carries.
