Football Recap: Windsor Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Windsor Academy played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 35-14 to the Terrell Academy Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Although Windsor Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Willis Odom and Heath Woodard.

A big part of Terrell Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Josh Cabatit and his top target Walt Lee. Cabatit rushed for 84 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries while Lee gained 79 total yards and two touchdowns. Cabatit also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Terrell Academy is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Windsor Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Terrell Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Windsor Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Flint River Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Terrell Academy, they will be playing at home against Valwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Valiants have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
