Preview: Needville Bluejays vs. Royal Falcons
Needville has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Royal Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Needville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Wednesday.
Needville fought the good fight in their overtime game against Navasota but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rattlers by a score of 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Needville has suffered yet this season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Bohdan Zeitz, who scored 17 points along with four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games he's played. Austin Anderson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 15 rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Royal scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Navasota 73-48. Winning may never get old, but Royal sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Needville's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Royal, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
