Softball Recap: Lakewood Ranch Falls Short of Parrish Community in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lakewood Ranch can now relate to. They fell just short of the Parrish Community Bulls by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Bulls: they've now lost six in a row.

Lakewood Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Parrish Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.
