Pembroke Pines Charter gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes, sneaking past 3-2. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Golden Tornadoes recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-16, 24-26, 26-24, 16-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pembroke Pines Charter will take on Cypress Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pompano Beach, they will challenge Nova at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
