Baseball Game Preview: St. Michael Catholic Cardinals vs. Foley Lions

The St. Michael Catholic Cardinals are taking a road trip to square off against the Foley Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

St. Michael Catholic is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 24th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They lost 10-0 to Foley.

For Foley's part, St. Michael Catholic's batters probably weren't too happy with Kolby Jordan, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 12 Ks (he gave up zero walks). That's the fewest walks Jordan has allowed since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Austin Heiden was incredible, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Colton Watkins, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

St. Michael Catholic might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Foley in their previous meeting on Friday. Can St. Michael Catholic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
