Recap: Perry Hall Gators vs. Dundalk Owls
The Perry Hall Gators gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They secured a 44-40 W over Dundalk. This was payback for Perry Hall, who suffered a 65-44 loss the last time these two teams met.
Dundalk's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jermaine Morgan, who scored 9 points. Another player making a difference was KhiRay Kasey, who scored 9 points.
Perry Hall's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Dundalk, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry Hall will take on Franklin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dundalk, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pikesville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pikesville is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
