Volleyball Recap: Baldwin Beats Hilliard for Their Third Straight Win

Baldwin won the last time they faced Hilliard and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Flashes. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Baldwin's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hilliard to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-20.

Grace Gottberg paced Baldwin's offense, picking up 17 kills. Gottberg got some help from Tynlee Jarrell and her 27 assists. Olivia Hartung controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Baldwin's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hilliard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwin will venture away from home to take on Clay at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hilliard, they will take on Bell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
