Summit came into Tuesday's match having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Johnson Crusaders on Tuesday. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hilltoppers yet this season.

Summit not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Johnson between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17.

Leading Summit to victory were Nadia Moghal and Rylen Conroy. Moghal had 16 assists and two aces, while Conroy had two aces. Those two aces gave Conroy a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Summit was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Summit's win bumped their record up to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Summit will face off against Columbia at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Johnson, they will challenge Mother Seton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
