Softball Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southside can now relate to. They came up short against the Dallas County Hornets on Monday, falling 12-1. The Panthers were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matches prior), but the Hornets' pitchers proved too tough.

The defeat snapped Southside's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-6 record. As for Dallas County, they moved to 3-13 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
