Soccer Recap: North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fountain Hills last Tuesday, North Phoenix Preparatory Academy came back down to earth. The North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators lost 4-0 to the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Gladiators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Eagles are ranked 43rd).

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 loss against Arete Prep on the 27th. Scottsdale Christian Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Fountain Hills on the 27th.
