Basketball Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. Destiny Christian Academy Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Kennedy Cougars face off against the Destiny Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Monday... The timing is sure in Kennedy's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Destiny Christian Academy has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Last Friday, Kennedy came up short against Grant and fell 64-51.

Meanwhile, Destiny Christian Academy also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Bishop O'Dowd by a score of 60-47.

Destiny Christian Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9. As for Kennedy, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-5.

Kennedy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Destiny Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2014, but they still walked away with a 66-62 victory.
