Langston Hughes is 9-0 against Northgate since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Langston Hughes Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Northgate Vikings at 7:30 p.m.

Temple typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Northgate proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 64-56.

Northgate is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.9 points per game. As for Langston Hughes, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Langston Hughes was able to grind out a solid victory over Northgate in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 62-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Langston Hughes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
