Soccer Game Preview: Eagle Mountain vs. Lake Worth

The Eagle Mountain Knights will head out to square off against the Lake Worth Bullfrogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eagle Mountain's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Eagle Mountain's offense. They came up short against Lake Dallas on Friday, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Lake Worth made sure to put some goals up on the board against Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Phoenix. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bullfrogs' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Eagle Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-2. As for Lake Worth, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 7-3-2.
