Foster put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the George Ranch Longhorns a 5-0 shutout. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Lizzy Yeager tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jordan Tosch was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Aliyah Hernandez was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Foster's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for George Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Foster is set to square off against their familiar foe Alief Elsik at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, George Ranch will take on rival Fulshear at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
