Volleyball Recap: Jim Thorpe Comes Up Short

Jim Thorpe was the 3-0 winner over Palmerton when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Olympians came up short against the Blue Bombers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Olympians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Jim Thorpe was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-22, 25-20.

Jim Thorpe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Palmerton, their victory ended a 12-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-12.

Jim Thorpe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Saucon Valley on the 6th. Palmerton has also already played their next contest (against William Allen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
