Softball Recap: St. Joseph-Ogden Extends Home Winning Streak to 14

While St. Joseph-Ogden's victory against Prairie Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Hawks on Monday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

St. Joseph-Ogden's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Prairie Central, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
