Soccer Recap: Marion Harding Comes Up Short

Marion Harding managed to slip by Highland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Presidents came up short against the Fighting Scots on Tuesday, falling 6-0. Marion Harding were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Highland apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Marion Harding and nudges their season record down to 1-3-1. As for Highland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion Harding will venture away from home to take on Willard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Loudonville at 1:00 p.m. on September 6.
