Volleyball Game Preview: Lacey Township Lions vs. Barnegat Bengals

Lacey Township hasn't had much luck against Barnegat recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bengals at 3:45 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Lacey Township beat Manchester Township 2-0.

Meanwhile, Barnegat had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Piners.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Barnegat was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11.

Barnegat pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lacey Township, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.
