League recap: North Arlington scores huge upset over Queen of Peace

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Queen of Peace, who took down 229th ranked Queen of Peace, 34-22. Angelo Nocciolo threw for 182 yards and one touchdown and ran for 10 yards in the win.

Palisades Park/Leonia moved up to 108 from 134 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in North Jersey - Meadowlands. The Tigers climbed the ranks as a result of besting Hasbrouck Heights 21-15.

North Arlington's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Joel Moldonado chipped in 54 yards. Nicholas Martin helped North Arlington's passing attack out by catching four balls for 38 yards.

Andrew Paparelli was the best wideout in the league this week as the Vikings bested the Golden Griffins. Paparelli tallied six receptions for 110 yards.

North Arlington's Nocciolo and Martin have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Nocciolo has thrown for 1710 yards this season, while Martin, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 30 catches for 504 yards. The Aviators' Anthony Seidel leads the league in rushing yards with 911.

Hasbrouck Heights' Seidel is a mere 89 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.

Palisades Park/Leonia extended the longest winning streak in North Jersey - Meadowlands this week by beating the Aviators, 21-15. The win marks fourth in a row for the David Schuman's team.
