Softball Recap: Valley Head Comes Up Short

Valley Head was the 14-2 winner over Geraldine when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers lost 13-3 to the Bulldogs on Friday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adleigh Lockett made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Ava Harrison also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Valley Head's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Geraldine, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-11-1.

Looking ahead, Valley Head will head out to face off against Woodville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Geraldine, they will welcome North Sand Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
