Mundy's Mill's Rodney Smith recorded the longest rushing play in AAAAA Region 4A this season in his game against Houston County last week. Smith's team topped the Bears as he sprinted for 83 yards on the play and finished with 348 in all.
Mundy's Mill added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Houston County, 33-13. The win marks seventh in a row for the Gregory Manior's team.
The Tigers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Rodricous Gates threw for 73 yards and Marquis Kempson had 46 yards receiving. On the ground Smith chipped in 348 yards. Smith helped Mundy's Mill's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 17 yards.

The Tigers scaled the state rankings by moving to 94 from 151 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Mundy's Mill climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Bears 33-13.
