Volleyball Game Preview: Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs vs. Strongsville Mustangs

Stow-Munroe Falls is a perfect 5-0 against Strongsville since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Stow-Munroe Falls didn't have quite enough to beat Jackson and fell 3-2.

Stow-Munroe Falls took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 24-26, 25-21, 15-5.

Despite the loss, Stow-Munroe Falls got top-tier performance from Luke Hoskinson, who had 18 digs and two aces. Hoskinson has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times he's played.

Avon typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Strongsville proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 23-25, 25-22.

Stow-Munroe Falls' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-10. As for Strongsville, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
