Softball Game Preview: Bayfront Charter Sharks vs. Bonsall Legionnaires

For the second straight game, Bayfront Charter will face off against Bonsall. The Sharks will square off against the Legionnaires at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bayfront Charter has given up an average of 10.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bonsall hit Bayfront Charter with a five-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Sharks came up short against the Legionnaires, falling 14-4.

Bayfront Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariana Carbajal, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI. Ahloni Garcia was another, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.

Bonsall's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Bayfront Charter, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-15.
