Softball Recap: Mishawaka Marian Knights vs. South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies
Mishawaka Marian extended their losing streak to nine on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 2-10 in the process. They lost 11-2 to the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 two weeks ago.
Mishawaka Marian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Weber, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Weber's first of the season.
As for South Bend Saint Joseph, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games.
