Volleyball Recap: Chico Beats Foothill for Their Third Straight Win

Chico barely beat Foothill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Cougars 3-0 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Foothill scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-23.

Chico's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Foothill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Chico will be playing in front of their home fans against Shasta at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Foothill, they will head out on the road to take on Orland at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
