Volleyball Recap: Cedar Crest Takes a Loss

Cedar Crest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Daniel Boone Blazers. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Cedar Crest sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 38-36, 19-25, 25-22, 13-25, 15-13.

Cedar Crest's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Daniel Boone, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Crest will welcome Manheim Township at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Daniel Boone, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Exeter Township at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
