Algoma waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down the Oneida Nation Thunderhawks 69-52. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Thunderhawks are ranked 313th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Algoma's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Oneida Nation, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Algoma will challenge Gibraltar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oneida Nation, they will venture away from home to take on Lena at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
