Soccer Recap: Piqua Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Piqua was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Xenia Buccaneers by a score of 2-1.

Piqua's goal came courtesy of Jocelyn Thoma, who's now up to two this season.

Piqua's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Xenia, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Piqua will square off against Stebbins at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Xenia, they will face off against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
