Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is West Point-Beemer's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

West Point-Beemer extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Allie Kaup. The West Point-Beemer Cadets walked away with a 64-52 victory over the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers on Thursday thanks in part to Kaup, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 18 boards. The match was her third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Addison Toelle, who posted nine points and eight assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists.

Bancroft-Rosalie lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Addison James, who had 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kairece Morris, who went 7 of 14 on her way to 17 points.

West Point-Beemer is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

West Point-Beemer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-29 win against Lyons-Decatur Northeast on the 11th. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 56-9 victory against Tekamah-Herman on the 10th.
