Howells-Dodge had won five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 3-0 to make it six. They breezed past the Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs to the tune of 78-50. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Jaguars had established a 25-point advantage.

Howells-Dodge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chase Luther led the charge by shooting 70% from the field on his way to 18 points. Dane Meyer was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Howells-Dodge was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They racked up seven more assists than Humphrey-Lindsay's also-impressive total of 13.

As for Humphrey-Lindsay, they now have a losing record of 1-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since January 17th.

Humphrey-Lindsay lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaden Sueper, who posted six points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Joel Brandl, who scored 15 points.

Howells-Dodge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-29 win against Oakland-Craig on the 13th. As for Humphrey-Lindsay, they will be home for the holidays to greet Pender on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Pendragons have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
