A well-balanced attack led Oakwood Academy over Metro in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Oakwood Academy Mustangs blew the Metro Panthers out of the water with a 95-35 final score. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Oakwood Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Austin Germono led the charge by going 6 for 11 en route to 14 points and four steals. Germono has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylon Pognon, who posted 11 points along with six boards and three steals.

Oakwood Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Metro, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Oakwood Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-55 loss against Normandy on the 16th. Metro has also already played their next game, a 77-50 defeat against North County Christian on the 16th.
