Softball Recap: Lone Star Comes Up Short

Lone Star suffered their closest defeat since February 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the South Grand Prairie Warriors by a score of 6-4. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooke Wooten was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Lone Star's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for South Grand Prairie, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-1.

Coming up, Lone Star is taking a road trip to challenge Plano at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Grand Prairie, they will take on Robinson in a tournament on Thursday.
