Softball Recap: Sierra Chieftains vs. Riverdale Cowboys
Sierra waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Riverdale Cowboys get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Chieftains might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.
Addy Carrillo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That hit marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Naliyah Gibson was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abby Bays, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Sierra will square off against Avenal at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday down 372 places (495 vs. 123). Meanwhile, Riverdale (ranked 452nd) will meet Liberty (ranked 174th) at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
