Softball Recap: Naples' Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Naples came into Thursday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Honeoye Bulldogs with a sharp 12-6 win on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Big Green Machines: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Thursday, they had to take a 11-8 loss.

Natalie Brahm was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Juliann Hall, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Naples' victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Honeoye, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Naples will square off against rival South Seneca at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Honeoye is set to face off against their familiar foe Red Jacket at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
