Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nitro). They breezed by the Sissonville Indians to the tune of 67-0 on Friday. Considering the Wildcats have won six contests by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Josh Moody was his usual excellent self, throwing for 260 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last six games he's played. Malachi Thompson was Moody's top target, picking up 98 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Nitro's defense and their ten sacks. Xavier Patterson was especially locked on to Sissonville's QB and sacked him 2.5 times. Another thorn in Sissonville's side was Wyatt Sowards, who picked up 0.5 sacks and made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

The win (which was Nitro's sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points per game. As for Sissonville, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
