Baseball Recap: Brookland-Cayce Takes a Loss

Brookland-Cayce lost against Chapin last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bearcats took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Bearcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Rylan Bullis was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Brookland-Cayce's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 5-10 when he doesn't).

Brookland-Cayce's record is now 7-11. As for Chapin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
