Basketball Recap: Pomona Takes a Loss

Pomona had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Greeley West Spartans 45-9 on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Despite the loss, Pomona saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Audrianna Mondragon posted five points and four steals.

Looking ahead, Pomona will take on Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greeley West, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against D'Evelyn at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
